All replacement lenses offer 100% UV protection (UV 400) and are easy to change. The lenses are unbreakable.
Which lenses take in which circumstances?
- Clear lenses are used to protect the eyes of the dog against e.g. air movements (jumps from the helicopter or airplane, rides at high speed on mopeds on motorcycles, etc …), to prevent dirt from getting into the eyes. as in strong wind, to prevent the dog from getting hurt when sniffing undergrowth,
- The tinted lenses provide more glare protection. That is why these are absorbed more quickly by dogs with light-sensitive eyes, as they experience them as more pleasant.
- Mirrored lenses have a rather fashionable character and are seen as an eye-catcher. That is why we also call them the “Sunday glasses”. The coating of the Mirror glasses is applied on the outside, and is more sensitive to scratches. Dogs have fewer problems with scratches and broken lenses than we do. A dog uses its eyes more distantly. They use the sense of smell more for nearness.
