This scissor-type clamp is suitable for catching moles and voles. The clamp is easy to tighten by means of the adjustment plate. Bait can be placed in the adjustment plate to increase the chance of being caught. The clamp can be used for a long time.
How to use
Leave the clamp outside for a few days or bury the clamp in a bucket of soil to avoid human or factory odours on the clamp. Wear gloves for your own safety. Prick around a fresh molehill with a stick or rod (10-20 cm deep) looking for a mole tunnel. Carefully dig open the ground with a small shovel until you see the mole’s tunnel. Clear the tunnel on both sides of loose soil. Tension the clamp and carefully place it in the mole’s tunnel. Cover the opening and the clamp with a piece of sod or some twigs and/or leaves. If necessary, place a bucket over this to block out sunlight. This will also help you immediately recognise where the trap has been placed.
Do not place a mole trap within reach of children and pets. They can injure themselves by the clamp going off.
